Both are tough, but in my feeling, bunker guardian is just HARD to kill, but there is always a way to get guardian down (just take longer time).
However, bunker ele is just IMPPOSIBLE to kill as long as he don’t really want to die. The worst case he just run away and come back again since no once can catch him.

both are incredibly hard to kill, thing is that bunker ele ahs more mobility that bunker guardian, i played once as a bunker ele in wvw, and i encountered a lonely bunker guardian, we fought like for 5 minutes lol, until my pt help and helped me kill him

Bunker eles needs to run away in order to stay alive, but from what I see, they are better at that than the guardian. For staying around one spot, the guardian is a lot harder to kill.

On the dueling tangent, I once fought a bunker mesmer in WvW with my semi-bunker guardian for about 15 minutes. I got tired and sat down , and so did the mesmer after shattering her iWarlock. I avoided fighting mesmers for the rest of the week.
