Been having a blast on condi DH and have now dropped core guard completly, but had a great discussion/debate to reconsider with a guildy who had some great pointers. So wanted to gather some cancer players to get more opinions. whats your build and weapon preferences? and why? Also here are some random clips i put together of me on Dh. What does your build look like, it seems to me kind of like to take DH you would have to give up useful traits from Zeal, Radiance, or Virtues. I also don’t really see you using anything from DH except the virtues.

Also what stats are you primarily using you have 15k health is some fights and 20k in others?

you might want to add “solo roaming WvW”

I play with traits a lot and yes the virtues is almost the only reason i take dh. though hunters fortification is nice against heavy condi builds and the stab from fragments of faith always helps. In most clips im wearing carrion armor with balth runes but some clips i have dire with travelers. I also play with gear a lot. Been mixing trailblazers in slowly and sticking more with the travelers set up. Wish i could give you traits but i am all over the place as guard has plenty of good options, i can tell you that radiance is stapled in and if im taking dh then i usually drop virtues. The one scene i have 15k hp, i was playing a silly trailblazers/settler set up with mace and guardian runes. Focusing more on the burn on block trait while using symbols, dodges, and aegis for sustain.

the guardian runes migh make sense with a burn DH, people are just spammers pull f3 each block set target on fire pul shelter the same, mace shield + reatreat more blocks, i think this would be a funny defensive set.

Btw, that SW SoA finnaly ic more players using it im not alone.

One thing that i tend to do in pcp is drop purging flame between me and the target, push target across PF and pull with shield, when this works most players tend to hit PF again by exiting it.

Yeah shield is fun and you can set up some nice combos with it. If i rock a SW i obviously mix zeal in the traits with carrion armor, ive gotten my biggest ticks with that set up but usually have only my virtues for sustain so i tend to play it less since i usually solo roam and am outnumbered. If you manage to land the full combo pf, knock back with shield through pf, and then pull back in with spear of justice thats a definite downed player. Very fun and rewarding combo/set up. O and with the guard runes and amplified wrath its 2 burns per block :p

A lot of them don’t know what Purgimg Flames is lol. That one war entered it like 4 times.

I have, we had a nice discussion about Traveler Runes a bit back on an older video of yours in the comment section. Hobbies aside (Great vid again btw) do you still play around with core guard or is DH stapled in?
