Q:

So I’ve been frustrated a lot lately as seeing how the dungeon sets like the flame legion don’t really provide any stats of toughness but vitality being the closest supportive/defense-like stat on the armor. I play a dps role with the greatsword with spirit weapons. Even that, I’m unsure which is the best between spirit weps vs burn build. Both seem really nice but I can’t decide on only one. I haven’t tried but the burn build yet but it seems nice if I want to be a glass cannon, only problem is I’m not finding a balance of some survivability going the glass cannon route. Does anyone have advice for me? I’m seriously stuck lol. Chose the 101 power/72 precision/5% crit dmg from the flame legion chest piece yesterday and I’m kind of now regretting it.
However, I thought about maybe crafting the knights draconic set and then transmuting it. With the knight’s stats comes with Toughness/Power/Precision.

Please provide valuable feedback thanks.

From what I have experienced so far, if you go toughness, you really need to invest in the trait and use a shield to actually see the difference. If you are going greatsword exclusivly the pow, prec, crit damage is awsome for your damage output but you might lack hp.

There are so many benficial stats to take into consideration but in the end its best to focus on three. At least from I have learned so far. The stats you do decide on, you should get as high as possible to maximize the effect you will get with them. Trying to spread my stats around and keep everything balanced hurt me more then it helped me. Once I started focusing on which 3 stats were best for me and the way I prefer to play, I saw a huge improvement.

If I was going pure greatsword. I would want the pow, pre, and crit damage. I would max the power and precision lines and throw the rest into vitality. And with the all the added power and crit from a matching set of gear and jewelry , the raw damage would probably be really nice. Not sure how well you could take a hit but you would hit like a truck dam near every swing.
