If i buy/make Vision of the Mists can i change sigil in it and if you can and do that will it still have the same look?

Yep. It only changes the function, not the skin. The only time the skin changes is when you transmute another skin to replace it via transmutation stones.

Clarification:

• Changing any statistical components of weapons/armor have no effect on any cosmetic properties of that weapon or armor.
• Cosmetic properties of weapons/armor only change if you choose to do so via transmutation stones (the top row when transmuting).

So the lighting on the sword will stay?

mhm. again, the only way to change a skin is to use a transmutation stone. if you just put the sigil in without using a stone, the skin and other stats of the weapon will behave exactly as they were before the sigil change.

less complicated format: changing sigils has no bearing on skin effects whatsoever.

You can also change the stats on it while keeping the skin with a transmute stone.

The top box out of the 3 is the skin, middle are the stats, bottom is for the sigil. Just pick and choose which ones you want.
