Celestial Bunker!?
It’s been tried on AH and Virtues bunker and it generally doesn’t work. The only thing that you gain that is noticeable is vit and crit chance. The crit chance can be useful for Vigorous Precision, however this only procs every ten seconds, so just running intelligence is more than enough. Guards also can’t really stack might like ele and engi can, so you’re damage is still going to be consistently low.
The hit to healing power is actually a big deal, it might not seem like much, but you have to remember Selfless Daring only has a .5 coefficient pvp compared to the 1.0 in wvw/pve. Plus things like regen and Empower also greatly benefit from higher healing power.
When it comes to AH bunker you want either Cleric or Solider. The cele build you posted will work. However, by my reasoning, it’s not really optimal, especially in the current meta.

Looks like the shout bunker I posted the other day.
While celestial can be somewhat decent in PvE/WvW it doesn’t tend to work in PvP because of 3 things
1: The guardian just doesn’t have enough damaging conditions to make use of the + condition damage stat. (Burn guard is alright but very easy to counter with cleanses)
2: The trait selfless daring only scales half as well in PvP as it does in other game modes. IT can play a large part in bunkering & unless you have a good amount of healing power it won’t scale that well.
3: While the guardian can bunker, they just can’t output anywhere near as much damage as elementalists, warriors etc… when they do so. This makes them much more reliant on an ally to actually finish the fight.
Try googling Kensuada Celestial Bunker it’s on the forums somewhere here. Consensus was works pretty good for solo queuing but not good enough for higher level group play where you will notice the loss of survivability.
I play a Cele amulet GS/ Staff bunker guardian in PvP. 00644 (retributive armor, strength in numbers, AH)
(shout cooldown empowering might)
(Defender’s flame, Resolving Absolution)
with hold the line, purging flames, and stand your ground.
you have plenty of burning – fire shields (Leap of Faith through Purging flames) , burning projectiles (whirling wrath and binding blades through the purging flames, Defender’s flame, and as you’re getting hit, as you’re hitting, you’re building might, which helps your burns more.
burning isn’t why it works though. I run Runes of the Pack, and when I have an ally near me and I’m getting focused, my empowers, shouts and dodge rolls do a considerable amount of healing. Pack runes ensure high Fury uptime for sustained damage with the greatsword. Staff cleaving does wonders against mesmers and thieves who don’t stay in melee range.
