I had some extra stuff laying around and made a celestial set (armor/trinkets/rings/etc.) Just to have one. Don’t think I’ll change my weapons from zerk unless I have good reason to

I was hoping you might be able to fill me in on what kind of builds celestial guardians can pull off efficiently?

Feel free to just drop build links if you have any you’d find worth mentioning as well.

Also, this is a thread for sharing, ideas, and theory crafting if interested.

Edit: I already have ascended zerk/soldiers/clerics sets and know they all have a place. No drowning out celestial with personal bias please. I enjoy playing different gear/playstyles.

If anything, probably some sort of hybrid build for WvW. Can’t see it being too useful for anything else.

I second some kind of wvw build. Prolly like a zerg type build.

I do a tanky/supporty celestial Honor/Valor/Virtues zerg build with Valk/Zerk/Soldiers weapons, Hoelbrak sigils, Mixed Soldiers/Zerk/Cavalier jewelry.

Just edge out whatever stats you aim for and call it a day. Make sure you have enough power at the end of the day though.

Ah. So pure celestial is just too bi polar to handle any one job as well as others without dipping into another set to make it more of x, y, or z?

I think that’s accurate. I think of celestial as bumping you baseline. Then supplement with specifics where you want your edge.

I use Berserk weapons, Soldier armor, and Celestial trinkets in my build.

I know it is not Meta, but it works for me.

Rune of the warrior > Radiant Fire trait synergy.
Very high dmg for a celestial build.
