I want to challenge 5 Hybrid/Zerker Guardians to do an instance using this build.

I want to see how ridiculous of healing you all can get stacked up with eachother using symbols.

Triggers healing for every boon applied. Applying area-of-effect boons will trigger healing for each ally affected (including yourself) and skills that apply boons repeatedly over time, such as symbols, will trigger healing with each pulse.

But… you don’t need 5 guardians for that. Why have a group of 5 guardians? All you need to test the build is one.

Each Time each criticals, they get 1 stack of might, they also get a protection buff.

If they both have AH, it heals them both and stacks up.

If you have 5 hammer warriors on top of each other using that build, it is basicly 700 hp/s for Altruistic Healing alone, per guardian. It has no internal cool-down.

Also you have to realize each symbol is also healing each guardian, so that is even more healing.

I remember a video of guardians using someone to tank an entire zerg with this build.

Have 5 Guardians all using that build with Symbol of Protection alone, you Heal all your allies, each critical giving them Might.

That is 3-5 Might stacks and 5 Protection boons per second.

70 × 5 × 5 = 1750 Per Guardian with Altruistic Healing. Now lets say all 5 of those symbols also healed allies, that is an extra 535, which is 2285 Hp/S per second, not counting the healing skill or virtues.

When a Guardian uses Symbol of Protection, it gives Protection and does damage, which can critical and also give Might. (gasp)

Those are two boons which affect all allies, which means it could give another guardian who has AH those two boons (gasp) and also heal him!

I’ve always implied that all guardians involved have the trait. The devil is in the details, and I think you should go back to school and learn a bit more about them.

so me and me Guardian buddy each lay down a different symbol and we’re dancing around in ‘em. he gets heals for the boons he applies on himself and me. i get heals for the boons i apply on myself and him. but i don’t get heals for the boons from his symbol that are placed on me.

so there would be no “stacking” with AH, if that’s what i think you mean, OP.

okay. : )) i think the way you’ve been wording things have some people confused into thinking that you believed a Guardian with AH would get heals for every boon placed on them, regardless of source.

so technically, for the purpose of seeing how much healing a AH Guardian could heal, you wouldn’t need 5 Guards to achieve this. just a party that knows when, where and how to stack. with 5 AH Guards all doing this, i feel there would definitely be over healing, though then i assume you would be able to literally facetank most, if not all, PvE content. apart from one hit mechanics. ://

This would be healing.

Keep in mind, this will only work in certain team comps. With all the condi-removal, you can SY safely because someone will just pop another shout.

Honestly though, it’s unnecessary to even go this far in support that it becomes viable only in niches.

Yes, but I wanted the Guardians to all have that trait so I could see how much they healed for as well.

I wanted to see if the symbols all healed/Might went up to 25 stacks and they were all standing on each others symbols to make themselves have big heals as well as Writ of the Merciful healing all of them.

Empowering might seems an odd choice for this test as it is somewhat out of place for a high healing build. Unlike warriors that have a high passive healing without really investing into healing power Guardians really have to go deep into healing power in order to get a great return from it. So we usually dump crit chance in return for raw power and healing power. Further empowering might has an internal 1 sec cool down in application so I don’t think 5 guardians here would make any difference. So the answer would be it varies on healing power. If you REALLY wanted to go high healing a clerics build with something over a 1000 healing power, 3000 raw power, crap crit, writ of merciful, writ of exaltation, absolute resolution, and battle presence might crank out some impressive healing. That is if battle presence grants the passive multiple times per guardian. That would give 5 275 ish passive regen ticks per sec. Plus regen from symbols and shouts. Or it might not stack and just suck.

Nope, I wanted to see how high 5 Berserker Guardian’s can critical while standing on top of each other and using “EACH OF THEM STACKED ON EACHOTHER” to heal themselves with AH and Symbols, while healing allies with Writ of the Merciful.

fwiw – I’ve added Hammer with AH/EM and Writ of Merciful calculations to my spreadsheet ( linked in my signature )

if so yes, i imagine it’d be a lot of healing. throw in some symbol of faiths from mace as well, just for kicks.
