I use these forums a lot and always enjoy hearing the different view points of Guardians. There seem to be a lot of “professionals” here, but I’m throwing my hat in the ring anyway. So in the spirit of sharing specs, here’s mine:
http://www.gw2build.com/builds/simulator.php#1.3.12.2.0.18.20.16.0.34.54.74.73.66.77.3.2.6.152.0.0.0.0.0.181.186.192.201.0.0.212.219.0.10.0.30.10.20
Now, I don’t claim to be an expert (just shy of rank 20), nor do I claim some silly e-sport status. I’m merely a guy that wants to help out his fellow Guardian, and I think my build can do just that.
Now, at first glance, you might think, “Well, this sure is odd.” And it may very well be, but it’s effective as can be. In sPvP (which isn’t a great standard, but it’s the standard I’m using) I average between 15-17 kills a game, as well as 250+ points with capping, killing, defending, trebuchet’ing and “boss” kills.
I start with the scepter/focus and range my way into the fray, swap to GS for close range combat and have at it. With the meditation build I can keep myself healed quite well, I have enough retaliation going to matter in the fight, I have defense/health enough to soak damage, and I have enough power/crit to put some great dents in people. Now, it’s not a full on burst build, and it’s not a bunker build, but it’s a GREAT build for people that like to roam, kill people and not be squishy.
I don’t get wrecked by glass cannon builds, I have plenty of condition removal/heals available, and I put out a significant amount of damage because I don’t play bunker. Try it out before you judge me, then let me know what you think.
I can guarantee it’s not a build that everyone will like, but I do know that it’s a great build. Thanks for checking it out.
