Trying to start a thread with peoples’ opinions on good looking great swords.
With that said, does anyone know what the name of this one is called and how to obtain it?

It’s the new Zenith Avenger that can be obtained by reaching certain achievement point milestones (you get to pick one weapon every so often that you can get infinite skins of.)

Regrettably, ANet doesn’t seem to like greatswords very much and puts most of their artistic effort into highly detailed daggers, torches and warhorns; as well as a variety of large and imposing 2h hammers.

Hammers? Well, I know that flavor differs between people, but I can’t find many hammers that look at least good. They don’t really differ from the greatswords: a few have fine skins, the rest is just junk.

The one thing I’d really love is the AC greatsword entirely without its night effect. Modest, realistic appearence with still some nice details.

Skybringer, Krymswarden, Krysaor, and Krytan are my favorite non-magical skins. I may have spelled that wrong, I’m at work. For more magical flavored stuff I’m a big fan of most of the AC weapons, Foefire, and the Zenith sword is indeed cool. Apart from that though I think all the rest of the skins are pretty lacking.

I’m a fan of the AC greatsword, Skybringer, and if you want a glowy blue sword Foefire. Although I do think Foefire tends to look a tad clunky. These all seem to fit nicely with my character but its all up to your personal taste. I like the more elegant looking greatswords for my guardian. Skybringer is most likely my favorite in this regard.

I’m personally a big fan of almost all the Legionnaire weapons. I’m currently using the Legionnaire Greatsword until I craft my Twilight

I personally really like the AC sword of Foefire’s Essence. The blue glow works really well with the whole guardian theme.

doesn’t get much better than this. my swap is double legendaries and i prefer to keep the gs out most of the time…to say the least. i had the ac gs for the longest time and this was a natural progression in terms of aesthetics. i still prefer the ac gs day time looks, but can’t win em all…haha

No one likes the mystic forge greatsword?

For the cost the best GS for money might be the Jotun GS – just 252 karma.

Corrupted Avenger is one of the few greatswords on an Asuran Guardian that does not clip the ground when stowed.

AC is also a great looking sword, but i don’t like the @night effect. And the new zenith is very nice, but i chose for the focus and scepter skin…

Although I prefer the Highlander (human T2) over the Krytan

The only cool looking warhorns are the Howler, corrupted harbinger, and a few of the dungeon token warhorns. I don’t even think there are craftable mystic forge warhorns, and other random exotic warhorns are very plain and boring.
