Guild Wars 2

I’ve been playing core for a couple of years now. I’ve been yelled at and called a scrub, but I do decent with my Ranger in PvP (Gold tier 3 last season). Now I’m thinking about going into a Guardian build. I’ve heard the meta about Dragonhunter, but I don’t have HoT. Is there a way for me to build a core Guardian? I’m pretty new to the class, but people told me that it’s Burn builds are newbie friendly with just button mash.

You can try the FTP version of the Symbolic Dragonhunter or the Burst Burning .. or playing a shout support guardian

I think this is close to what another guard forumer posted. sigils are optional but the vuln can be useful as a cover condi vs single cleanse skills.
