But that’s not a Guardian lol. I’m trying to be a Unit Focused Guardian that Can hamper Enemy Players, so my team can kill them.
Herm… the only build that enables a Guardian to have his team kill a player, is a bunker Guard. This is because Bunker/Shout Guardians applies cleanse, support, stability and quickness to allies so his allies can make it happen.
All honestly, Dragonhunter will be this “CC guardian” you’re looking for. Considering F1 will apply cripple now, DH will apply this CC effect, that’s on par with Necro’s Chill, that you’re looking for.
Other than that, you have Hammer #5, Scepter #3, Shield #5, and Spirit Hammer utility.
It’s not exactly effective in this current meta but knock yourself out!

yes its possible. it will not work in pvp though.
I tinkered with that myself (valor instead of DH). the build has 100% chill duration. But it is basically a fun build. you do not pump out enough chill to be relevant in WvWvW.
however i might give the idea another try with DH coming up.

I will probably not go for a 1chill duration or extra application but I think there might be a nice burst combo that use the f2 offensively.

> Apply three aoe damage hits, apply 3+ stacks of burn, immob., vurnability, cripple, glacial heart > chill (75% chance), another aoe damage
> activate mighty blow
> wack away
it is a nice combo to really pin someone down. they basically have to pull a cleanse all utility or invurnability. as every on of our bursts it can be completely outplayed and you sacrafice basically everything defensive wise.
