Removing cast times would be too strong, I’ve recently had some 1v1s with my DH and I really think their cast times are perfectly fine, F1 is so fast it’s almost impossible to dodge if not predicted. F2 can deal damage, heal, immob and be used to travel. I don’t think it really needs buffing. F3 can last for an entire 7 seconds and refresh it with your elite making it 14 seconds frontal block.
Instant cast time is just too strong for DH

Have to agree with him. They are more than fine as they are now.
The only thing I’d change is F3 and make it UN-CCable. The meta since HoT is spam every skill including CCskills and you can get F3 interrupted which, as a stun breaker if properly traited, shouldn’t occur.

+1 for F3 being Un-CCable.

Like to add F2 in that mix also as they’re both just incredibly easy to get interruptable with CC effects in any group setting.

F3… the Indomitable Courage needs to proc instantly… instead, it procs when we have a shield. Counter intuitive.

only on F3 I agree.
F2 needs casttime otherwise there’s no counterplay and it’ll be as silly as Scrapper hammer Leap with the built in evade.
Also there are lots of ways to cover getting cc’d with aegis and blocks.
What needs a change is the massive aoe cc and passives introduced with Hot, that alone will make this skill better.
Having a non dodgeable F1 spear pull is just silly, some classes will be even more at disadvantage who don’t have any form of hard migitation or stab like thieves.
If u can’t land ur spear ur missing playing with your ability’s to bait dodges on players whilst following up with your spear to make it land.

So I was dueling a D/F ele, he cast air #4 (projectile destroying skill). I cast my F1 spear and it goes right through his skill and hit him, so it is not a projectile, can’t dodge it by reaction, pulls your opponents to you and low CD.

More often than not, we’re reliant on it landing to pull off a ToF combo to win certain fights. It’s not as reliable as other classes who don’t need to try-hard like Guardians do.

The thing is, once ToF is triggered we’ll always try casting SoJ to pull people inside. It’s been getting dodged by competent players that I had to throw spear first, then land Test of Faith or pull them in to trigger.

But like what was mentioned, when they see the amber colored Spear hit they’ll just pop Stability to deny our much needed combo. I think Spear of Justice is fine currently.
