The Dragonhunter active virtues do not trigger the boons granted by the minor adept trait Inspired Virtue from the Virtues spec line. There is a compelling reason to take Virtues to complement Dragonhunter for the faster virtue recharge, but the incompatibility of the Inspired Virtue and Virtuous Actions is counterproductive.

Edit: Correction – Specifically, Using Spear of Justice is not granting the 3 stacks of Might from Inspired Virtue.

I’m going to go ahead and say that doesn’t make the entirety of both lines incompatible.

they’re incompatible for the simple reason that DH virtues aren’t instant cast and will remain incompatible because of that.

Currently if you spec Dragonhunter you instantly remove Virtues as a core trait line option.

The way Dragonhunter new virtues work counter almost every single talent within that line.

I have mentioned this numerous times but it is starting to appear like the Devs want the Virtue trait line to be deleted from existence.

the DH virtues didn’t just “change” a base mechanic, it ripped it apart from its base.

So when the devs say “you can definitely have both virtue traits and effects with Dragonhunter”, they want to remove the virtues line.
