I am looking at making the 6 DH runes but I am really worried about losing my 25% run speed. Is there a way to maxmize uptime on swiftness without using staff? I really love my Bow/LS combo and I do not want to rely on swiftness sigils on weapons.

Speedy travelling is so much more fun with exploring Maguuma.

If you are mainly interested in exploring Maguuma you could consider getting the Speedy Mushrooms mastery. They give a 40% boost to swiftness for around 15 seconds and they are around every corner.

yea if maguuma if youre concern then youre fine. those mushrooms are everywhere, and when youre not using those youre gliding.

btw I forgot what DH runes do

175 ferocity, 100 power and 5 stacks of might when you lay a trap. I have the speedy mushroom mastery, but they are not everywhere ;-)
