I get asked often from guardians in pugs what build i run for dps and i tell them however sometimes they get back to me saying that can’t stay alive. This got me thinking about a dps build for players new to zerker gear. Something i was thinking was 0/25/20/25/0 or 20/5/20/25/0. you real theory crafting guys maybe some up with something better.

Reason for these traits are: 500 healing power while wielding mace
———————————————— 20% off cd on focus or torch skills
———————————————— Healing on dodge roll with vigor on crits
———————————————— remove condi every 10 secs
———————————————— Healing when Ageis ends or 20% cd on Shouts
———————————————— 10% more dmg from EP and RP or FW
———————————————— 10% more dmg using scepter
———————————————— 5% more dmg using mace
———————————————— ^ ^ ^ ^ GS low healing but WW in mobs is nice
———————————————— Empowered Might
———————————————— AoE Blind from Justice is blind

Weapons Combo’s:
Mace/focus-> Mace auto hits hard along with providing some healing. A block that offloads good dmg and a symbol for more healing and a little more dmg. more blocks and blind with a little more dmg or alot of dmg from Shield of wrath.
Scepter/torch-> our best ranged dmg while we learn to improve melee.(both torch skills can hit over 15k i don’t of any other weapon we have that has 2 skills breaking 15k)
GS-> has great mobility with plenty of damage. The only weapon iv got to hit over 20k with and another AoE blind.
Staff-> great weapon to start a fight with and as a back up heal when melee is taking its toll.
Hammer-> strong hard hits however very slow and with no boon duration increases 1s of prot on auto attack not worth it. banish and ring of warding come in very hardy but we are going for dps here.
Sword-> i don’t like being pinned to the ground so i do not use this but yes very good dps and a single target blind. As a new player i wouldn’t use sword and that’s why i didn’t include it in traits.

Runes: idk x2 Fire, Hoelbrak, Strength for might Or i seen Foofad say something about x5 Citadel and Ruby orb for perma fury.
Just probably not scholar or divinity untill you know you want to keep dps’ing.

Your play style should keep you actively moving and dodge rolling. trying to keep behind the enemy. Remember for bosses you will need to learn the signs of attack in order to make it out in time or dodge roll/block if you can. keeping vigor low will increase your damage with Elusive Power in your build.

Thanks for reading and remember this is a noob friendly dps build theory crafting post.
