Sword has lost its place among the meta, because it still has every glaring weakness that it had before, but no longer has a trait to boost its damage.

yes thanks i know that. I was just pointing out that there was a trait that boosts/buffs 1h sword.

Right Handed Strength is currently the way it is because scepter doesn’t have a symbol yet its trait is in the Zeal line. It’s their way of trying to give it some love but it just ends up being a backhanded insult to the 1h sword

Right Hand Strength increases crit chance for sword and reduces Sword skills CD.

The cooldown reduction is good for mobility from Flashing Blade, but let’s be honest: the weapon’s DPS is almost entirely in the autoattack. A reduced cooldown is not going to compensate for the loss of 10% of its damage.

Sword traits are in the Virtues line. Supreme Justice and Permeating Wrath!
