sarcasm. I’ve never gotten any more than 6 stacks of might as a guardian outside of Staff’s empower. Now I get insane amounts.

As for the trade off, that’s different. I wanted to use two-handed mastery, empowering might and pure of voice. Problem is, 2 of those are master traits and one is grand master. Soldier runes do a similar thing to pure of voice, but I’m already tanky enough. I don’t have much attack power, BUT I HAVE 25 STACKS OF MIGHT!

You didn’t got all those stacks by yourself, so what’s the point of the topic?

EM is a terrible skill and does not need a nerf and also AN employees do not need to read this forum please or watch any Guardian videos.

…That is the point of this topic. I somehow managed to get 25 stacks of might using just my greatsword.

Even if you used all Boon Duration items/gear/traits, you’d get at most 10 seconds of Might from Empowering Might, and that’s at best 10 stacks with it’s cooldown.

So you either managed to hit 25 targets with Wrathful Strike, or _Shelter_ed (but you’re using Signet) 25 attacks with Might of the Protector in 2 seconds, or there was an Elementalist passing nearby.

It does when you spec Might of the Protector

The only way I’ve got 25 stacks myself was with Empower + Empowering Might + greatsword + Virtue of Justice with Inspired Virtue + Might of the Protector with Shelter.

Godforged Hellfires in CoF = Shelter them for instant 25 stacks.

Empower (12 stacks) + Inspired Virtue of Justice (3 stacks) + Superior Sigil of Battle (3 stacks) + Wrathful strike (3 stacks if it hits 3 enemies) + at least 4 crits within the last 10 s with Empowering Might = 25 stacks (different duration, ofc).

That’s only a way to reach it, there are multiple combinations ofc, this one is possible without any specific rune apart from the sigil.

That said, he didn’t use this combo because he does have the Justice buff.
