Engis? Are you for real? They have always been easy when you stack conditions on them now with brun they get to the ground pretty easy, range them and don’t get near turrets, use teleports wisely.

Rangers are a piece of cake, Shelter when they rapid fire, teleport to them and they die instantly, run for cover when they’re shooting from above.

Necro got buffed and most of them are playing tanky builds now, so they’re not the easy free kill they used to be. Good for them they’re a class that needed that kind of buff. Still pretty killable if you time your condi cleansings and burst.

Ele (good ones) is a class I’ve always had problems on 1v1 as a Guardian, still have long fights with them and they flee/reset when they’re losing.

Mesmer is a matter of timing Shelter, dodges and Renewed Focus if you are using it. Target the Mesmer! He is the one dodging!

I’m on tier 6, Guardian is my prefered class but I don’t consider myself a hardcore PvP player. Only played for 4 hours yesterday, still testing builds but been playing with this http://dulfy.net/gw2traits#build=AgICpAPoBWw~
Sword/Torch Scepter/Focus Zerker Amulet and Flame Legion Runes (I know there’s still some improvement I can do with this build but I’m still testing like everyone).

OP Maybe test some builds? What are you using now?

Radiance: Right Hand Strength->Radiant Fire->Amplified Wrath
Valor: Focus Mastery->Strength in Numbers->Monk’s Focus
Virtues: Unscatched Contender-> Absolute Resolution->Indomitable Courage

Skills: Shelter, Judge’s Intervention, Contemplation of Purity, Smite Condition and Renewed Focus.

Sounds like a case of L2P. L2P is serious and can be fatal if left untreated. Lucky a new and cutting edge procedure has come along and can cure you of your ailment. It’s called, practice! Learn all class abilities and their animations, learn their weaknesses and exploit them, stop placing your forehead on the keyboard and expecting to win.

From my experience, Condi-guard is incredibly powerful. Moreso than its Power counterpart. I can’t really find a good reason to run power anymore since any sort of symbol build is rendered useless.

yeah, I’m not experienced in guardian that much but my one friend dueled me with a carrion guardian. I melted in 5-6 seconds, and the only time I stood a chance was when playing signet terrormancer with enough transfers to outdo the condition to boon conversion.

i’ve tried carrion scepter/torch and i’ll have to say: dont get too used to it because it’s almost definitely getting nerfed.

Currently i’m running medi Hammer/GS with Zeal/Valor/Virtues and i find it quite strong, albeit not kitten easy mode as a condi build. I don’t use the Feel my wrath elite as i really dislike the charge time + that it’s gonna get nerfed so i dont wanna get used to it.

Just to make things clear, I’m not the OP of this thread (he deleted and was complaining about being countered by every class in PvP). Carrion sounds fun, think more testing has to be done because what we are gonna play will depend on the other classes builds. One thing is for sure, hybrid or condi damage, burn will play an important role in our builds.

i think with all these buffs to condi, pretty much every class will build for condi clears so i feel that a hybrid build is the way to go. Keep pressure on enemy with physical and condi damage.

Warriors with Brawlers Recovery (remove 1 condi every swap = 5 sec) plus cleansing ire and Dogged March makes them pretty good at condi clears.
