Hey guys,

The guardian is a meeleclass and it is always hard to catch up to enemies that are ranged or just dont want to fight you in meelerange. For situations like this the guardian has his scepter and some other few skills on meeleweapons.

The scepter has the biggest problem with this. You can’t really hit targets that are moving around you or moving away from you. You have to deal with the same problem with your greatswordskill “binding blades”. I think that the autoattack of scepters ,ray of judgment and binding blades needs faster projectiles because theses are your skills for enemies that are not in close range but they are just not reliable enough.

I also think that smite needs some changes. In the most cases enemies just run through it without getting even one hit. The special effect of this skill is not that the single hits deal a lot of dmg but the skill itself should hit the target often.

The ranged skills needs faster projectiles. Just a little that it is still possible to evade them.

What do you guys think?

Its been said a lot before. We’ve shown the devs how ignorant it is to have our weapons messed up how they are. Smite being RNG, slow ranged attacks, projectiles that don’t get projectile finisher…etc. They obviously think that its perfectly fine for 2/3 of the scepter abilities to hardly land.

We actually got a 33% increase in scepter speed last year, but… it’s still an awful weapon.

Lately I get kited by anything ranging from Rangers to Warriors and even Thieves. Just constant kite. You TP once, TP twice, Leap… they dodge away once, sprint/stealth reposition themselves and like this. Yea it takes a while to kill me but it’s fool proof, you can’t hit your target = you’ll eventually die.
