What are your favorite weapon combo"s? Right now i use Staff and Greatsword. Just made a new guard.

I don’t really combo my weapons but I do have favourites for various kinds of content:

Sword/focus + GS for PVE farming and events
Hammer/Staff for WvW
Mace/Sheild + Septer/focus for Dungeons

WvW Zerg: Staff + Hammer or Scepter/Shield
WvW Roaming: GS + Sword/Focus or Hammer
PvP: Hammer + X/Focus

GS has always been my favorite weapon, I use it in almost all my builds. Great single/AoE damge, leap, and a little CC to boot. Plus GS has some awesome looking skins.

Primary: Hammer
Secondary: Greatsword
Support/Tagging Mobs: Staff
Ranged: Scepter/Focus

For a one-handed DPS Meditation build,

Sword/Torch
Scepter/Focus

For the usual Two-handed stuff,

Greatsword
Hammer

For ultimately stacking Might, enough to make a Warrior faint with fire fields and combo finishers,

Hammer
Staff.

it depends on the contest … for tpvp ans spvp staff and hammer , for wvw and pve staff and hammer/greatsword

i usually use gs + staff for any pve content. but i also have almost every other weapon option in my bag and depending the situation ill also use them.
though the weapon i have the most fun with is the hammer.

GS/Staff for large scale PvE (guild events, meta events etc)
GS/Sw+Fo for small scale WvW and PvE
Hammer/staff for large scale/zerg WvW
Scepter/focus for tower/keep/SM assaults and the few PvE fights that require range

Most favorite is the hammer, though. Just the best feeling weapon out there.

I used GS / Scepter+Torch for a lot of time, thenI changed to GS / Staff for more durability and support in PvE.

For WvW usually I go Mace+Shield / Staff for support. For a tanky dps I go Scepter+Shield / Staff. (Both in zerg fights, I don’t do roaming)

Scepter/Torch + Sword/Focus first, and then Greatsword + Staff.
Oh man, as a Scepter/Torch + Sword/Focus DPS Guardian, I feel we need a massive boost in out of combat mobility! Hence my second favourite set.

Wow thx for the replies all. I mainly do pve and right now i like Scepter Focus and Staff. Got a lvl 80 Ranger so i like ranged attacks alot.
