Finally i can finished this tortune achievements, so i decide to write this post and share things that might help my follow brother and sister Guardian.

The gambits i use is
-Crowd Favorite = Fight an additional opponent at the same time.
-Exhausted = You cannot dodge roll and will always have zero endurance.
-Frailty = All damage from attacks is increased.
-Hamstring = You will be crippled for the entire fight.
-On Fire = You will have the fire debuff for the entire fight.

Because i need to end this fight as fast as i can, because we cant dodge our heal are suck againts those mass-hughdamge, so i take Crowd Favorite instead of Squeamish.

And i pick Subject 7 to be my opponent, Why? because her oozes use range attack and one in our speciality is deny those range attack. But what about Doobroosh? i’ll talk about it later.

*instead of fight with Deadeye it’s to hard to fight with foe that to far and had skill that unblockable, only evade can help(but i’m on gambits i can’t dodge no evade)

My trait is 10/30/25/0/5 (you can see at attachments)
Put out every thing in Berserker gear with ruby orb (too bad that my ring is all round ascended, but it work in the end ,OK)

1hSW:sup air/Shield:sup accuracy
Hammer (use only at first strike)
Shelter / Wall of reflec / Sanctuary / Shield Of Avenger
food:100 pow 10crit dam and Powerful element slaying (Achievement ooze slayer is incress each time i do with Sub7 so i sure it will work as you can see in my picture)

AND I BRING MY FRIENDS (guardian) TO HELP ME WITH BUFF BEFORE ENTER DOME

Let’s start the fight tell your friend to buff you with every things he/she have
enter dome with hammer walk to sub7 hit him with skill 4:BANISH to launch her to wall, and end of hammer roll thank you ver much.

When Sup 7 launch to the wall switch weapon to 1hSW/shield and use Flash Blade then use SHIELD OF ABSORPTION knock Doobroosh back then Zealot’s Defense a bit before your buff will run out of time [At this step many ooze will spawn and Doobroosh will nearly run back to you].

Use SANCTUARY and now magic just happen Doobroosh got knockback again and this time he will ignore you forever instead of slap you he will walk off and don’t even attack again [This happened 2 in 3 times when i use this step], and now you are 1-1 with Sup7(and her ooze).

• 2 STEP ABOVE DON’T EVEN DO ANY DAMAGE TO Doobroosh ONLY KNOCKBACK FROM SKILL THAT I TOLD
  **little Doobroosh that we not touch will only do a small damge, so let him be at tiny size.

Now this time use SHIELD OF AVENGER to fight by your side protect you from those ooze , hit Sup7 with your blade blind her to decrees her armor also use cone attack of your 1hSW combo to kill ooze for re-use JUSTICE, when thing come to bad use shelter to heal and gain might as much as you can then use WALL OF REFLECTION against those ooze

If things went from bad to ugly use Renewed Focus to re-use your Virtue blind them, heal your self, block in coming HUGH damge.

I down one time but can rally because my Wall of reflect hit many ooze and with block will burn, i also did many burn time stack on those ooze and sup7.

This all i can told you after what i did, things are really fast this battle start and end in 30 or 40 sec so my memory are nealy blank

This fight have 50% my skill (i suck i know),
20% my brain think about strategy (i dump),
20% spend a time in Gauntlet (Thank to this i find out about Doobroosh not attack if we knockback him 2 times)
and 10% luck (Monster not crit to much, Doobroosh disappear from ring)

Thank you for this. Was still trying to figure out how I’d go about doing this achievement.

I just managed to complete it vs Deadeye. I farmed him for ~3 hours to get some practice in with just 4 gambits (exhausted, fraility, on fire, hamstring). I tried many times to add either squeamish or crowd favorite, finally got it with crowd favorite.

My build was a little different too, had 20 in valor and 0 in honor for extra crit damage.

My sigils were garbage too, though I built up 25 stacks of bloodlust for each fight (huge pain, but very very very helpful, every single bit of damage is needed). Food was plate of truffle steak.

Only other difference from that vid is the time I got it, I tried out shield of the avenger over bane signet and I got it first try. I think what really did it was I got lucky and popped VoC, shelter, and renewed focus at the right time to block the 9k quaggon attacks. Got downed at the end and beamed deadeye for the achievement.

I would like to know this as well.

i used spirit sword, hammer and shield – summoned sword+hammer right at the beginning – and shield after his first teleport (maybe after you had to block his deathshot with renewed focus oder some blinding)

the spirit hammer is great for buying time – as you are slow as **** with that gambits if you can come close enough, cc some more with your own hammer (by that time – you may have to call for the sword again)

safe your aegis and shelter for his normal attacks (if shield isnt up), elite and blindings for the deathshot

I would also recommend taking a weapon with superior sigil of accuracy and get 25 stacks then switch to ur weapon set. Atm farming Dunwell and it gives quite a bit of dmg.

Whatever you do, don’t rely on aegis working for Deadeye. It seems completely random whether it blocks his 1 shot attack. I’ve been repeatedly downed while blocking and has resulted in much frustration. Also, since he uses his 1 shot attack immediately when you enter, it makes it extra frustrating to spend 6 tickets and be instantly defeated without even having a chance to react. Or worse, you have reacted and he shoots right through whatever you have up to block his attack.

I basically facerolled Dunwell recently. On Fire, Hamstring, Crowd Favorite, Exhausted, and Frailty gambits. Ran 30/30/0/0/10 with Knight’s/Zerker gear. Sword/Focus and GS. Buffed myself with Staff before going in and had a full stack of Bloodlust. Used the spirit sword, spirit hammer, and Wall of Reflection.

Port in and don’t do anything but summon your weapons. Then just stand there and wait for his teleport. Put up WoR immediately when that happens and reapply Aegis by hitting VoC if he managed to get it off so that you can retain your +20% damage buff from Unscathed. With WoR up, go to town on him with every burst skill you have.

Assuming you have enough damage gear on (food and stacks help), you’ll either kill him right away or he’ll be finished off by burning just after his second teleport.

I’ve not had a chance to play with gambits yet. Out of interest, does “On Fire” actually apply burning and perma-proc Inner Fire?

iirc, it’s a “gambit” – has it’s own icon and doesn’t come in the form of a condition. so i read somewhere (slips my mind where right now) that you’re not technically burning with the “burning” condition. given i haven’t done testing if it actually procs Inner Fire, i can’t be sure but am betting against it. ://

@Chris – have you done this recently? after the latest patch, they “buffed” Deadeye and he aggros from the middle of the room too now, as well as uses killshot at point blank range. and Quaggan aggroes immdiately too now lol XDD

our blocks aren’t supposed to protect us from his 1hko. : (( only invuln, blinds and evades work. so if you’re going for gambits and taking no dodge, you have to rely on renewed focus and blinds.

a good strategy would be to have sword 2 so you can port to him immediately, blind him and drop Wall of Reflection for his normal shots (though they don’t reflect nearly as much dmg as it used to), and then if he doesn’t use killshot right away, look for the red target under you, him kneeling or the laser pointer at you, then use either focus 4 or F1. F1 is probably your safer bet since it’s instant. and you should survive his 1hko. if he happens to port again, look around for him and use renewed focus if yuo can’t blind him in time if killshot is charging up again.

5 gambit on deadeye

fastest way .it’s a 50/50 chance(cuz on ocation the quagan bursts you down) on a 10 second fight .Alot easier than subject 7 and not to mention faster.

4 gambits is still easy.you just need a good pair of eyes

@mini – for 5 gambit now, so you just pretty much aim to burst down Deadeye before Quaggan gets you? same strat you port to Deadeye right off the bat?

tbh, i kinda like it post patch, because you do have to watch for when killshot is coming and take reactive or preventive measures. whereas pre-patch, you just mashed buttons. and if he does get a port off, the sense of is my next blind gonna make it make it all the more exciting.. for what it’s worth lol.
