What does everyone think the optimal gear for Firebrand will be (PvE)? A guildie suggested Commanders for a full on support. But since it’s condi focused, does that just mean Vipers—that’s what all the cool condi kids play, right? Or would a set of each be recommended depending on what I’m doing at the moment?

Maybe we need to wait for this weekend to get a better idea. I’m just considering what materials I should start gathering together in advance of the release. This is the first time I’m considering making drastic changes to my gear since Ascended gear was released (my current gear is not what you might call conventional).

Support firebrand will probably use Seraph gear.

Otherwise, viper.

We’ll get new stat combination with the xpac, I believe its better to wait and see if there is something appropriate.

Also, how Firebrand workout. It might not be viable healing wise, considering the high cooldown on tome of resolve.

Trailblazers and as much dire/celestial/Apothecary (depending on how healing scale) in trinkets as you need to reliably trigger Radiant Fire. With fast hitters like sword/torch you need about 12-15% to trigger reliably. But i will play it as condi tank in all game modes, probably not the way most people will play it.
