Hey all,
As the title says, I’ve just reached level 80 on my Guardian(my first 80 mind you), currently running Strife’s “anchor” build with my eye on Kharel’s “Boonway” build. But, I’m not really feeling either of them. I’m interested in some WvW as well as dungeons(mainly) and some open world PVP events in Orr etc. I’m not opposed to a Boon/Shout build, I love being a utility for the group. How viable is a full support guardian? Either tanking or this “healway” build that I’ve heard about? Do you need a dedicated group in order to really be effective? Because I’m sure most of my dungeon encounters will be with a PUG due to time restraints etc. I need some advice on build options…that aren’t going to be obsolete once the patch hits(which I haven’t taken the time to thoroughly look into). I’m interested in full support(tank or healing), or a survivable DPS that helps the group, much like Strife’s build but without requiring your whole party near you nearly 100% of the time to be effective with AH, because I’m surely not going to be running with a melee group or doing speed runs anytime soon
