Guys… I need a bit of help, I love the guardian, I truly do, but my current build only allows me to survive most fights and deal semi-decent damage, least I THINK I’m dealing semi-decent damage. I’m looking to do SOMETHING with the armor set I have on and fiddle around with it and various weapon combinations. But they just gave me more healing power mostly. Is there any way I can fiddle with this and make my guardian hit harder?
PvE: berserker everything else + scholar runes
WvW: it depends on what you want, berserker everything else + scholar runes on the highest damage possible side
Soldier(Power Toughness Vitality) trinkets with Exquisite Ruby/Opal Jewel upgrades if you want to be on the tankier side(okay for zerging but you will hit like a wet noodle) with whatever runes you may need for your playstyle.
You might also wanna look at swapping something for EM if you’re running AH if you’re zerging for more procs.
because traits for guardian are just off generally (too much give take all over the place)
add soldiers Runes to your armor and Soldiers Trinkets then I would say that you would be decent in WvW
and check how much your healing yourself with the AH versus Mango Pie food, might find you can go more power/precision on weapons.

Are you doing PVE (dungeons/fractals)? WvW or Spvp?
One thing you may not be aware of is that what works in PVE will not work in WvW and vice versa. I don’t do much Spvp but I would bet that it’s completely different too.
It’s not necessarily true that WvW and PvE builds won’t work and that it needs to be one or the other. Everything is viable in PvE, whether in PUGs or a dedicated group. Full berserker is generally the way to go in PvE and I fully endorse it, but I’m also not the type to leave someone hanging if they’re not full zerker. Because everything works in easymode.
The day AH will be removed will be the day 90% of PVE guards will improve significantly.
I catually use that build, for pve (dungeon and fractal).
I can defend well and heal whit shout, empower of the staff and every critical hit I give might and heal myself.
I’ve a lot of dps, just to help the party.
i like the sword+focus and be a support, but I hate when I don’t give damage. Whit that build I’ve a lot of damage and a good defence and support ability.
It’s a Hybrid, and there’s better build in game than mine, but I like this build.
