Guild Wars 2

I’m torn between guardian and warrior, cant choose. I love greatswords. I only have limited time because of my job so I can’t afford to level both of them to 80 and choose what I prefer.

I’ve read that symbol of wrath of guardians were nerfed.

-First I love to solo, may it will be farming or leveling, I don’t like the sound of dungeons so i will rarely go into it but will still play sometimes. since anet nerfed symbol of wrath. is still worth it for solo guardians?
-I love pvp too, which profession is best in 1v1 and 1v2 situation? ive heard and watch videos, warrior kills fast. guardians spec for dps is pretty good too but i rarely see in videos where guardians are in 1v1 or 1v2 situation.

The GS was and is still viable despite the increased cooldown of Symbol Of Wraith and the wall of drama queens which plague mmo message boards. Existing players who devoted their build to symbols were hit hardest but honestly, if you love the class and overall style of the GS then just stick with it. There are times where you will have to switch weapons in combat, especially for the guardian and warrior if you want to max out your hero’s potential.

1vs1 or 1vs2 most people would say guardian. However it all depends on traits/gear and utility setup. Both are great classes but it would be better if you tried both and see for yourself.

Warriors are more bursty while guardians have more survivability if you want to blow stuff up then go warrior but guardian is just as good in 1v2 situations if build correctly and both classes can do fairly well in 1v1.

Greatsword is still pretty good trait it to reducing 2h skills by 20% and the symbol goes down to 16 seconds instead of 20 which is a little better and easier to deal with i miss the 10 seconds but hey ill take what i can get. Imo Warrior are quickly being figured out since everyone and there mother is running a warrior class and guardians have better healing than a warrior which will keep you in the fight longer. I mean you can do all the damage in the world but that wont help you when you are dead.
