I agree with the ending. Hopefully firebrand will be compatible with this playstyle.
there no better defense than damage in this game, players only need to burst harder and faster than the target.
This is their defenition of action mmo while actually lacking the roles necessary for it.
Game was developed for players to be carried with high damage gameplay, defensive builds are ment to fail overall, except in some classes that can still do better damage and defensive gaemplay than guardian, but that is ment for pve and shows how good ANet is porting the pve classes to pvp…. for some reason this game is known to be the joke of mmo’s, ment for badies.
Im not expecting decent results witthin the next expantion, will be condi removal to massival fire damage based class (the more conditions u remove /convert back has fire damage).
Probably a easy gimmick counter (to some effect) to counter the way how easy is to get carried with high damage condi builds.
Other classes will still be better by miles, if u dont make your build tuned to damage otput mostly.
damage output creep is ment for noobs(for brainless players that just want to leach the awfull class design ANet enforces from PVE), every one looks good while still mastering the builds due the high numbers, and how easy is to play a build with a huge gap ierformance.
TDLR; It’s ANet dont expect anything good when its about class skills and design… they are only good at artwork…
And expect more power creep beign in condi or raw power with more aoe/cleave as well, so people will want to buy next specializations….
