use the scepter it has good range (1200) just a rather slow auto attack (#1) what would be nice if the staff #2 attack was not slow and lame i actually never use it because most of the time i do it just floats into the ground.

the reason im saying use the scepter is because you have no argument for why you want the rifle or bow and im assuming its because you want more range

In all seriousness, the chances of it happening anytime soon are minimal. If we get increased range capabilities, it’s more likely that the Scepter will change than that we’re getting a new weapon.

If they increase the speed of the blue balls of doom I’ll be more than happy with the scepter tbh, but right now its way too easy to dodge away from it.

Yes “we” know that this is not the first post about the lack of ranged weapons for this class. But the more focus this problem gets the bigger is the chance that we get a respons from Anet or even maby a new weapon. I would love a new ranged weapon, but if they take a second look at our staff and scepter im all happy.

Il keep answer post like this to we are heard. My lvl 40 guardian bring less to pvp then my lvl 4-8 hunter, engi or thief alts.

You’ve been heard; ANet has already given a response. Back in BWE2, they mentioned interest in longbow but said that the time and effort required to add an entirely new weapon just kept it from being a priority at all.

We’ll see Scepter tweaks in the form of speed adjustments, chain implementation and/or Trait support well before we see anything like a brand new weapon. Expansion or major content feature though? Sure.

Just make the scepter 1 attack a bit faster and make the spirit bow a spirit scepter (no change to any of its attacks) and i’ll be happy.

I want the spirit bow changed as all the other ones (sword, hammer, sheild) are weapons we can equip, having the bow makes no sence as we can’t use one ourselfs.

Ahh that was news for me, wel if they tweak/remake the staff and scepter abilities im all happy anyway. Rolling a warrior alt wile waiting.
