“colesy’s on rampage today. Slaying casuals left, right and centre” – spoj
So I’ve been tuning my guardian and I was a bit unsure of how much damage I should be dealing for a DPS build. If I attack some random mob in the open world it can massively fluctuate between about 2.8k and 5.6k on my whirling wraths, and for those big PvE bosses where you’re just meleeing and they have every condition imaginable I can get up to about 15k on my whirling wrath if I pretty much walk inside them so all of the projectilekitten.
I got myself some knight gear recently too, and I was a bit unsure of how much crit damage a guardian in knight gear should have, I went from a nice 103% on my zerker to about 61% using knight’s and my damage obviously just seems to suck. Is there a way to get a higher crit damage without compromising the build or is 60-ish the kind of crit damage you get in knight builds?
60-70ish is about the best you are going to get unless you want to start sacrificing stats at a higher ratio. You can look up the item nomenclature chart on the wiki to see what the ratios are and were the best places to get them are. Best spots are the gems for jewelry, accessories ( not rings) ammulet, and shoulder/boots/gloves are the lowest hard stat losses. I always do weapons as well since they provide the largest actual crit damage number.

Cavalier stats is a great way to increase crit dmg and maintain higher survivability.
