Was just wondering about any Greatsword Guardian builds strictly for sPvP.

Particularly curious about any synergistic Traits and/or Utilities. Meditations seem to bring a lot of utility but my experience is limited and was wondering what Current Guardians are using. For the alternative weapon it seems Mace Shield is the most Versatile to compliment the Greatsword while staff brings some utility it appears to be more of a support utility weapon. Once again just wondering what are experienced guardians finding to be more applicable when using a Greatsword.

I like to play aggressively, and detest bunkering.

Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.

I personally am not a fan of an offensive guardian in PvP. Love it in WvW, but it just feels weak in PvP. Too easy to mitigate the GS damage. I personally enjoy a Hammer Scepter/Shield CC DPS style offensive build. But it doesn’t have a GS.

Why would you want Right Hand Strengh when using a GS as a main weapon? Wouldn’t it be better to take the 5 out of the 30 Radiance and put it into Valor to get Monk’s Focus and get burst healing out of your meds? Actually, those five points would be suited better in any of the other trees if the OP wants GS as a main.

I run a 20/0/30/20/0 build that’s centered around MF. Using hammer with GS works pretty well. Especially with the RoW, JI, Banish, MB and then the GS dmg rotation. That typically wrecks most people. Especially because it hits so hard and so fast. Alternatively you could swap in sw/fc so you have a great gap closer.
