Until a few days i played Hammer Staff more than GS Staff but i think i will switch to Greatsword because i am more mobil.

But i am not sure abut the build for PVE and WVW. Can u give me some Examples.

Iam not using it but can u also give me example of S/F and Mace/Schield.
That would be great.
Its also because i am unsure what Legendary i will make.

Assuming you are following group in WvW, and most likely using AH build.
Just my 2 cents: If >20 ppl then use hammer, If <20 ppl then use GS.

Greatsword
(5 tagets – blind at targeted location ) -with the leap skill
(the greatsword pull skill )-very efficient if you attack the backline of enemy’s
Hammer
- circle of warding (Area CC – not limited to 5 enemy’s)
- Short cooldown- Blast skill
-area imobilize.
So overall
- Hammer is better for front line tank, since you got supperior CC, and an blast skill.
-Greatsword is better for agresive playstyle, when you ambush your enemy backline.

For WvW the most common would be x/x/30/30/x. As for PvE something on the lines of 10/30/0/5/25. Check the stickies at the top of the section for more info.

For support in WvW you could run 0/0/10/30/30 or 0/10/0/30/30. Can check out some of my vids if you want to see what it can bring to a team.

Hammer+staff with AH following a zerg or even a small group is what I find really enjoyable. The healing you gain is incredible.

Hey sport, you forgot the 0/0/30/30/10 and 0/0/30/20/20 Guardian support builds…….

I’m struggling to figure out what support 30 points in Valor brings to the team that 10 points doesn’t. Elaborate?

AH is great and all, but it only benefits you. Essentially you become a brick wall, which is awesome if the enemy decides they want to tunnel vision you, instead of your glass cannon friends. However, 9 times out of 10 that’s not gonna be the case and you’re gonna end up running around doing nothing. With good mechanics and proper use of cooldowns, you can survive much longer in a 0/0/10/30/30 build and you can easily sustain your team while you’re at it.

Since you are asking from a legendary point of view, I will give you a GREAT piece of advice.

Do not got for the Juggernaut. I have one, I made that mistake, take it from someone whos been there done that and regrets it greatly. In time it took me to craft my jugg, I could have literally have twice the gold and buy 2 of them outright. Please please please, do a google search on “silver doubloon” before you commit to a legendary hammer and do yourself this favor, as the situation has just gotten exponentially worse since I did mine last summer. Do not go for the hammer unless you are rich and intend to straight out use your credit card for it.

Go for some other legendary rather then the hammer.

^^ I think that’s bad advice. If cost is your argument to avoid Juggernaut, you can use that logic for any legendary. Sure, the Juggernaut is relatively expensive to the other legendaries, but every legendary is relatively expensive compared to Ascended weapons.

So if you want to talk economy, then every legendary should be avoided (NONE are cheap to make) and just get ascended weapons for an order of magnitude cheaper than a single legendary.

As for the OP’s question … be aware that any build you use for both PVE and WvW will be sub-optimal because of the completely different aspects of each. My recommendation is simply to reset your build whenever you want to do one or the other.

Ok i think i have builds now but can u tell me some good looking Weapons.

Instead of Juggernaut i will take the Genesis.
I thought abaut making Sunrise and Bifröst.
Or this Weapon.
