I use a GS in my Defensive dungeon build as my main, with scepter/torch for ranged fights.
GS is perfect for me and my heal/tank build because of #5 skill and its AE pull.
Course why make a crit build guard? would be better off investing that time into a crit thief.

That’s because of dungeon difficulties being reduced over and over I guess.
GS is definitely viable. I use a fairly standard 0|10|30|30|0 AH crit build for dungeons. If there are a lot of melee players in the group, I go with the hammer for group protection. If there aren’t many melee players, or if I’m in open world PvE, then I use the GS for the mobility and mob gathering capabilities.
I’d rather regret something I’d done than regret doing nothing.
