Hi, I’ve been running this build for a very long time now and was hoping for some advice on how to improve or fine tune it?

I find it easy to kill someone in a 1vs1 (WvW) and the support in dungeons is good.

Should i be changing things around at all? my damage is not bad and if i bother dodging attacks i almost never go down. When Ascended armor comes out should i stick to solders (Power/Vitality/Tightness) or move to something else? i was also thinking about divinity runes on the new ascended armor! but would the extra stats from divinity be worth giving up the bonus boons from Lyssa? thanks in advance.

You are a tank, with tank gear and tanky traits. Worse than classic AH build which at least uses Knight gear for a bit more dmg. If you claim that the dmg is good then you never played warrior to see what real dmg is.

I suggest you to go and read a few topics on gw2guru.
Never going down it’s both an advantage and disadvantage. Lately it’s more effective to kill a boss as fast as you can .

I really hope you use Sota and WaR. Those are really important in a lot of dungeons and it’s vital in fractals.

Nothing to say about wvw, never been there with something else than my necro.

This would be pretty good for WvW in a Zerg Scenario and is pretty close to what most people run however I would change the food you are using for one.

Also remove the Sigil of Bloodlust from the weapon you will be using in actual combat. Use 2 other weapons with the Sigils to stack Power killing NPC’s then once done switch to your main weapon and go fight people as this allows you to maintain the stacks and have an extra Sigil that will be useful in a fight.

Guardians have higher DPS than warriors.

Hundred blades isn’t overpowered either, I tested axe auto chain (3.6s) and hundred blades (3.5s channel) in cursed shore and both kill a normal mob at the end of their duration, so the GS kills 0.1s faster.

Never said they don’t. I just said that he cannot claim to have a good dps with soldier gear, defensive traits and those runes.
I play a berserker guardian and it’s pretty fine until now. I was getting too lazy playing AH and now I still manage to survive, bring a lot of dps to the group, reflections and boons. I really think that I bring more to the group now than before.
