Looking to see if there is anyone has had success with staff when roaming, if ya have post build, looking for a change up and i’m terrible at working out guardian builds myself, I just never see staff outside of zerg and am curious if ya can get it working on a decent gs/staff roaming build.

I have done two videos of roaming with staff, but it’s defensive, no gs. It’s mace/shield. Tell me if you want to see it !

If you’re roaming with a group of allies, then yes, staff can work! I roamed GS/Staff, meditations with a mes and an ele once. Staff helped keep us alive a little bit longer vs. a larger random group of roamers we fought, and the 12 stacks of might/line of warding cc of helped the lock-down quite a bit.

As for 1v1ing, I really REALLY doubt it. Your only way of dishing out consistent and decent damage is staff 1 and symbol. Neither of these two options is going to out-class the damage your opponent will meanwhile be dealing to you.

GS/Staff
air/fire, generosity or renew + optional
valor – typical
honorable ( honor staff, WoP) can run PoV and split shouts but run soldiers -for a hybrid shout / medi.
can run zeal if prefer (GS 5% + kitten aeg or sym ave, both decent depends on goals)
virtues – typical
marauder + power(vamp, pack ….)
LoW, 3xmedi, RF – can drop one medi for a optional ie stand u ground…

- good 1v1 build , not the best
- solid team build
- up to 35 sec swiftness on 1 symbol
