Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone,
I am interested to create Support guardian for PVE (fractal, Ac, CoF) and WvWvW
I heard a lot about Cleric Armor combine with runes that have 15% Boon duration on each 2 parts of the armor (total 45%) and trait 0/0/20/30/20 . All that i heard from 1 of the Desolation’s guardian commander. weapons are PVT but he didn’t tell me his gear (rings and more)
This build is good for WvWvW and Pve especially Fractals?
If not plz share with me your expertise.

here are few trait builds you can looks at that i’ve seen few people use,

build 1
0/0/30/30/10 – i think this one is for tank/support with AH, its also most common trait build used. traits used are :
Valor – V,VI,XI
Honor – II, VIII, XI
Virtues – II (not sure about this one)

you will gear up for critting, 40% crit chance (minimum) and 60% crit damage, rest you will gear up for power and toughness. runes mostly use are 2 monks, 2 water and 2 earth I think.

0/0/10/30/30

build 3
0/0/30/10/30

For builds 2 and 3 am not sure what people you usually use for them, as you can probably tell I do not use these builds. I use 0/15/30/20/5 which is a AH build and I have geared up mostly for DPS with bit of toughness and vitality, I mainly use dodges to avoid damage or AH to heal from them to survive.

build 1 most of ppl use that as I saw in youtube, probably I don’t care about dpsing I care about how much support I can give to my party’s members for wvwvw and Pve dungeons and fractals. I think cleric will be the best gear for my guardian.

I have been using the 0/15/30/20/5 in PvE since Feb. I also use an amour mix of Knight/Valkyrie with a full set of soldier runes. Weapons and trinkets (ascended) are all berserker, back-piece is rabid (exotic) with a rabid crest.

For traits:
Radiance: II
Valor – V, VI, XI
Honor – II, VIII

I mainly use greatsword and staff, sometimes swapping out staff for scepter/focus if range is absolutely necessary.

Staff sigil is Fire, greatsword sigil is Force (cannot decide on anything else …)

I have not taken this build in WvW, so don’t know how well it works in there, but for PvE it is very nice. For dungeons, I swap to p/v/t armour with runes of Melandru
