Guild Wars 2

First. Looking for constructive criticism. Not reroll to a different class or any of that non sense. Thank you. Now on to my problem.

I am trying to come up with a half decent build for both PvE/WvW. I am not looking for the BEST build, but something that could work in both of those cases. For PvE, probably not going to set foot in a dungeon with this guy so it will most likely be open world pve, helping guildies and friends out stuff like that. For WvW probably just going to be in a guild group so not a lot of solo roaming.

Pretty much a shout AH guardian. Knights armor with mostly Berserker Trinkets.
Prolly most of the time looking to go with GS/Hammer or Hammer/Staff but going to keep a few more of the weapons like scepter for ranged situations and stuff.

Again, looking for feedback. Don’t want to be totally useless but don’t want to be totally “hard core zerker pro.” Thank you again for reading.

If you’re taking Hammer along then spec for glacial hammer. Can only help. Other than that this should provide enough support in WvW small group tactics and enough damage output. Just be wary of thieves spiking you with interruption warriors.

Your traits do no synergise with your weapons at all. This build looks pretty bad, and here is why:

Honor VIII requires you crit to give might. Which means you want to be attacking at a high rate to give that might out. Problem is, the Hammer AA chain is slow which doesn’t gel with the might on crit. GS AA is just bad, so no reason to use it for any stretch of time. You are better off going VII Writ of Persistence to do more damage with that hammer.

Ok…. I just realized you want this for both WvW/PvE and don’t want to be useless. But I can’ make this build really work. Its kind of a mess in my eyes. That above snippet I began to write was about dungeons fyi.
