Hi guys
my question is very easy since the new changes with the patch of 25/06 I was wondering if it was possible to make a nice build with the hammer Tank / DPS exploiting the symbol of protection skill 1 of the hammer and the damage of the hammer itself that his is already high.
Appearance advice in creating a build different from all the ones you see around’m not going to do the usual character …. thanks

This is my hammer build. Didn’t really change a lot, due to the patch. More of a all purpose build. Switch between “Writ of the Merciful All symbols heal allies” and “Pure of Voice Allies affected by shouts convert one condition to a boon” as needed.

I use soldier armor and soldier runes for WvW, switch some traits around and use staff instead of scepter.

I’ve been using this build for quite a while, hasn’t changed with the new patch. Its a 10/30/0/30/0 setup for Hammer. Works great for you and your melee, SYs as you’re going in for protection until you get the hammer chain going. then just live in the puddle of protection. I use zerker gear because protection just gives a ton of mitigation and you can maintain some good damage output. This build can be adjusted for any other weapon also so its quite versatile. Pay attention to the runes, 45% protection duration helps for those times you have to move out of the puddle. With this setup I can usually end an encounter with 20+ seconds of Protection still running.

Moving 5 points from radiance into Virtues might also be an option, since you don’t really need 30 Radiance with 2h weapons and being able to spam some might at trash mobs is not the worst thing.
