God evening folks!
I have now decide to make a Guardian! and now the big question What race?? If im going Human, Its a female otherwise all other going to be male. Well maybe Norn female but whatever help me decide plx
Which race got coolest armor/style and so on (NO char) Thanks!

I’m biased towards Human females because 1) everyone was Human in GW1 and 2) male Humans look weird.

Norn female. No doubt. Best armors, best animations.

Human male , trying to rebuild the legend of the almighty guardians that Logan demolished … Humans have nice Armor in form of Tier 3 (Seraphs use it). Norn is more Viking looking.

Vigil Armor looks like a centurion (has a lot of Roman motiffs) which leaves free the issue of race.

I always liked my female Sylvari. Same animations as human, better looking cultural gear imo, and the best voice actress. However stay away from male Sylvari unless you like listening to Trahearne all day…..ugh

Female Sylvari, Male Human, or Female Norn. Those are the best. Charr guardians can be neat though, especially since they have Fury on a racial.

Sylvari or female asura. Asura t3 OP

Skill wise, Charr for fury access (Guardian have almost none) or Sylvari for immobilize access (binding jeopardy trait).

Appearance wise, what you like more.

Human Male. Boom!

I like the Asura the most – actually deleted my 80 and exotic geared Charr to reroll an Asura Guard since I had no open character slots.

Asura Tier 3 heavy looks amazing with the right colors, but I don’t have a pic available of it at the moment.

Norn female, because Norn T3 chest and T2 skirt are pretty much the best looking heavy armor in existence. To me, anyway.

Also, the Norn racial elites are surprisingly useful. Especially Snow Leopard Form.

Pounce and Dash used on random out-of-range targets gets you out of harm’s way much faster than any normal Guardian skill, and then there’s stealth.

No other race has the ability to solve the Guardian’s mobility problems like this.

If you are going to do roaming wvw, norn would be best. Snow leopard will allow you to escape zergs. Otherwise, you have to stick around keeps and such. I hate playing my necro for that reason, one little chill and I am at the end of the zerg getting chased down by warriors and thieves.

I’m a sylvari guardian, and I have to say that the chivalry the race presents works very well with the guardian profession in general.
I’m also a fan of charr guardians and norn guardians. Since norn have a lot of honor going for them, and because a heavy armored magic wielding charr sounds cool!
Human guardian is fine too, but overplayed. There really isn’t anything interesting going for them.
Asuran guardians make sense since they use magic, and the idea of using a hammer to punt others as an asura is beyond amazing! xD

Sylvari’s Venturi code’s are basically King Arthur’s codes of chivalry. What better class to be than a guardian for that race.
