I love to play with spirit weapons but my only problem with them are the durations. Why can’t they make them unlimited duration like necromancer minions? I don’t see the problem why they shouldn’t do it. The damage and spirit weapons skills are good but they fade away middle in a fight. So i like to see them for unlimited duration!

What’s your opinion about the durations?

Somewehere I saw that anet didnt want to make its duration unlimited, because that kind of stuff (necro minions) is already in the game

It would be awesome to have unlimited spirit weapon durations and I dont care if they become similar to the necro minions.

Well that sounds really stupid to me. Minions and Spiritweapons aren’t even close to each other? If that is their statement they are really kittened by giving almost each class shouts now. Isn’t that similar either? Dissapointed and they really need to work on other utilities skills aswell instead of giving credits to the current meta’s. Thanks for the reaction. This shows me they give 0,00% interest in spirit weapons.

Either unlimited duration or make them unkillable .. If you’re worried about it feeling similar, make spirit weapons have a limited duration but are unkillable. They are spirits after all! There is nothing like that in the game at the moment.

Indeed some wise words about unkillable option. I prefer more to unlimited duration because they feel like a side support for you. Just like minions or clones on mesmers which you can spam. But we wait and see if they gonna boost the spirit weapons in Heart of Thorns. I doubt it :/
