alright, so, i’ve recently decided to start playing my Guardian again for PvP/WvW and i’m going with a full support build. so far, this is what i have:

i’ve done some google searching and saw that the recommended gear is full Celestial; however, i don’t have money to just acquire full Celestial, so, i came up with a combination that hopefully measures up at least somewhat well. i did check out a full Ascended set and my set has more power/toughness, but, it’s really lacking on offensive stats. i can always slot in another piece or two of Soldier’s (or another stat combination) for more health if need be. here’s the Celestial set for reference:

i’m not entire sure what my other runes should be, but, i’m set on Energy runes because being able to dodge roll is always good. i know the boon duration on weapon swap rune is generally the best one, but, i want a cheap alternative because i’m going to have to get all this gear from scratch, since, i haven’t played my Guardian in… three years, at least, and i currently only have Masterwork armor on her. i’m using Water runes for cheap boon duration/healing. is there a better alternative?
the three Ascended Celestial trinkets and the random Ascended Apothecary ring come from my other characters. the Apothecary ring is from a random WvW box and the Celestial neck/ring is from another character. also, does attuning/infusing Ascended gear lock it to a character or does it just give you another slot? i actually don’t have that mastery yet, so, it’s kind of moot, but it’d be nice.
overall, i’m just looking to fine tune what i have before i start going all-in on buying gear/equipment. i think i have the right traits as well, or close to it.
i plan on swapping out one of the trait lines with Firebrand when it releases, but i’m undecided on which. opinions?
