I heard that Warriors have higher HP and Defense but Guardians offset this with the ability to heal more. Can anyone confirm or refute this please?

Confirmed on the wiki as far as base health goes:

The healing should be obvious to anyone who’s started the class.

Why would we need more health? The Guardian more or less negates the lower health just by having Virtues.
