Hey everyone
Raids is just around the corner and i’m thinking about making my Guardian to a tank, but i wonder is it worth it? and if so, how should i build to mitigate the damage to stay alive and support my team m8’s .
Would be awsome if guys could help me out with some builds and gear etc. Thanks before hand.

You indeed can’t get much worse than that. Please wait until later. I’m not going to make a build on my cell phone but later I probably will.

Making builds on cellphones is easy. That’s how I’ve been doing it for months.

Now, as far a that build goes, it’s fantastic at just absolutely not dying. However, there isn’t really content where you need such extreme performance.

That isn’t even the issue. There are just out right awful things about it. Renewed focus for 1 is a way better elite. Offers an invuln and access to another 7 second block for your entire team if they stand behind your VoC. I’ll go into more detail later.

RF isn’t actually all that fantastic, though a second Shield is certainly desirable. Granted, Sig o Courage isn’t particularly amazing either, but with all the personal healing you grant yourself, you can ignore a lot of the threat. Add that in with the unblockable mechanics you’d need to deal with and the disparity isn’t all that large.

Once raids are actually a thing then neither you or I will have to rely on speculation. Despite having some scant access during beta, there’s still a lot more about raids the community knows nothing about.
