I’m constantly creating, getting to level 80 and deleting my character because I always find some stupid animation that I hate,
Example: Female Norn or Human with Staff number 1 attack, what kind of animation is that really? Human male, Greatsword attack and Sword attack number 1, I dislike the stab on the 3rd attack on doing 1 > 1 > 1. And hate moving left and right with a Greatsword which blocks there face (They move the sword with the direction? I’m not home, so I can’t remember exactly)
Don’t like Sylavri’s
Asura’s are kinda to small, that’s why I always reroll.
Char’s are a no no :P
Problem I have, is every time I see a human or norn, I literally go to character select, make someone and then realize again. Those animations are going to kill me…..
I truly don’t even know what I’m asking for, Help, suggestions, I don’t know :P I’m bored at work.
Then there is only male norn left. I play one and I am pleased with the animations.
Though I’ll mention 3 things
1. Running with shield is kind of, what ? I wonder why they don’t run like females do, with shield to the front becuase they just simply run while completely exposing their front.
2. Kind of irrelevant but when you draw your weapon out and do walk animation, they do not rest their GS or Hammer on their shoulder as every other race does but just keep them in their hand like if they weren’t holding anything.
3. Some people claim for sword #1 chain animation to be silly, don’t know why I don’t see a problem, you gotta check it out for yourself.
Other than that, I like how my norn stands with his hammer ready for a fight, truly a tough battle stance.
Running with a gs or hammer unsheathed makes them hoist it over their back while still holding it. Cute and badkitten!
Speaking of hammer, when using hammer 2, they do a freaking front flip!
When casting short sword 3, they jump in the air, float during the casting, and just go crazy with the blade.
Triggering mace 3’s block makes them to a jump and a twirl.
Keeping the theme consistent, when channeling staff 4, they freaking float in the air while rotating around the staff! Also, they twirl the staff over their head for the idle animation.
My only con is that it can be tough to make them look cool in heavy armor, but it can be done!
