Guardian one handed crossbow
The skills are awesome. But I don’t think a gun of any kind fits with the guard aesthetic or lore. Feels way too anarchistic. We are a class that is very King Arthur, early medieval inspired. And we’re all about old gods, swords and magic. Not guns and machines. If we did have a ranged weapon, I would suggest a crossbow. Two handed crossbows would rock and still fit the aesthetic.
I understand your view point and agree. A gun would not fit our class lore. From your suggestion it would now be changed into a one or two handed crossbow. Thank you for posting

Cool!!
@ Entropy " But I don’t think a gun of any kind fits with the guard aesthetic or lore. Feels way too anarchistic" I find Scapter, a raindbow-fairy weapon, to be way more anarchistic when i comes to guardian.
If you meant to say Crossbow? Then that would fit a Guardian as a ranged weapon. Those were used by Crusaders historically in real life. And they were one handed I’ll have to look that up.

I think he did, yes. But most of the crossbows were two-handed because of the weight.
@ PokerTuna – You’re thinking of a “wand” buddy, not a scepter. Scepters were traditional accessories of a king, quite popular in the medieval period. They were also used in religious ceremonies, both monotheistic and pagan. Thus, they fit perfectly with guardians who are essentially religious / spiritual knights. It’s one of the distinctive weapons that separates us from those godless warriors.

My bad I spaced on the title. Also there are one-handed versions of crossbows that were used by crusaders on horseback because of a push-lever and ratchet drawing mechanisms allowing more flexibility to reload and fire. (All hail the mighty Google)
