Guardian vs Breakbars
I’ve been having a pretty easy time with breakbars using traps when traited to daze. The elite trap also seems to do massive amounts of damage to the breakbar in my experience.
Dragon’s Maw really destroys that bar.
If not, you actually can add a spirit weapon–the hammer more or less–and use its activated effect to break the bar. It’s really, really good for that.
The F1 skill for dragonhunter that pulls in destroys some of the bar too, and since I play with shield too I got shield of absorption.
Banish on hammer breaks the bar a great deal too.
I don’t have any problems at all breaking bars.

hmm really do not get that either. If you trait for it DH degenerates break bars without even trying. perma cripple on target, dazes, pulls, knock backs, wards.
Just keep in mind that the grey bar can not be broken. only the blue ones.
Planting at least 2 traps with daze plus the elite melts even a champion’s breakbar.
DH wins again.
Bane signet absolutely DESTROYS breakbars. It’s super great.
Bane’s Signet also takes a significant chunk off the break bar. While it also gives a nice bonus to power when you’re not using it. Plus it has 1200 range.
Thanks for the suggestions. Guess i’m just slotting the wrong skills. Bane signet is a really good idea!
