Guards the Hands down best for Orr?
Necro or Engineer in my opinion are equally as good. But I would never change my Guardian :P
I was pretty bored last night so I spent a couple silver to port out there and try to farm some bags for Giants Eyes. Over the course of a hour or so (about 90 bags later I guess and no eyes ) I went ahead and played my favorite game.
How many mobs I can take at once before I die
All cool-downs and gee-wiz bang options are allowed to be used as is weapon swap. Needless to say I was able to pull 5 or so with ease to include a vet once or twice.

Warrior is great for farming but if you use crafted MF gear it’s basically like being a glass cannon without so much cannon. You can still be relatively survivable though, because if you avoid being caught it’s mainly boss/veterans that kill and screw them anyway because they don’t give the loot to be worth the time they take to kill. If you don’t care about +MF it’s just funny, and of course with a group, less protective gear doesn’t matter too much.
I don’t have a guardian to 80 yet but I’d assume they can likewise loltank hordes of undead, maybe even to some extent in +MF gear since they rely on skills to mitigate damage more than warriors’ ‘tonnes of health’ approach. But they wouldn’t have longbow’s #3 and F1 skill, and I’m not sure they get anything without a target cap like axe #2 and #5, so the warrior may mass-tag mobs better.
Engineer grenades and bombs are good at it but I always found that more boring than smacking things, and farming is already boring, so I never got far into it on engineer.

That’s a great game! With my full MF rune-set armor (Draconic) I took on a Veteran Giant + ~10mobs that showed up along with all the grubs the Giant spawned and won without ever going down.
My sword-horn support Warrior (perma-Regen from alternating 2 banners) is pretty much indestructable while wandering around Orr (barring the occassional run in with a Champion- run away, run away!). My guardian is 67, so I’ll be able to make direct comparissons soon.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

i play that game as well. usually unintentionally though. :ppp but even in full MF gear, you usually don’t have too much to worry. i was roaming mining stuff once and hit up one event. i forget which camp, but you have to kill all the little minions. which isn’t bad cause they’re just normal mobs, but i was able to complete that event and having 6 – 7 mobs on you at any given time.
in terms of “tagging” mobs, staff is great for that. if you’re far away, pop #2 while spamming #1 while running up. when at mobs, circle strafe while spamminng #1. for an extra sure-tag method, pop #3 where you know mobs are goign to congregate (for e.g. on top of plinx of near plinx or at chokepoints / entrances / paths at the camp events).
GS is good as well, hammer is pretty good, even torch does a decent job with #5.

I find it easier to solo Orr with a guardian because I don’t have to deal with the conditions but two warriors can go through a mob in Orr faster than a hot knife through butter.
Guardian greatsword is basically created for pulling a mob. Weapons and attacks that do damage to single opponents aren’t recommended.
