Guardian Paladin 2.5 Build,So We Are 80 Series “Weekly”
Guardian Berserker 3.0 Build
(edited by Silentstorm.7531)
Berserker 2.0
This is a remake of the popular Berserker Build I made. It was the very first build I made full of flaws. This time around I refined things a bit. It is a rather selfish build it’s all about damage and burst. I stay in 2h greatsword as usual but feel free to use whatever you like.
The build leaves little care about defense and healing, it’s all about the power. You do have some but I really wouldn’t try to tank things with it that will go bad. So remember get in tear the house down get out before it falls on you. This build is not dungeon friendly I tried and yea I kicked butt. But it’s far too easy for your butt to be kicked back.
Try using this more as a true glass cannon do the damage and have a healer friend lol.
Build is 30/25/5/5/5

Might stacks are always high! Now look at the damage of both builds!
Like I said in my Paladin 2.0 video not much difference between glass cannon and more tanky builds. But however dps is higher on a cannon spec. But like I used to say to my guildies a dead dps isn’t a net gain. With that said I revised this build because somehow it was the most popular. So I redid it again with a little more defense. I had to redo the video too from yesterday. Somehow you tube corrupted it and made my inbox get filled with a whole lot of whining……
While I can certainly appreciate the guide/video and the damage output what I don’t understand is why you wouldn’t actually take advantage of a second a weapon set. Your main AOE skills (which from the video is the purpose of this build) all have a decent CD and you could easily increase your DPS but swapping to a different AOE based weapon set while waiting for those CD’s and then swap back. What exactly is the reasoning behind not using a second weapon set? I love the GS for dps as well but once those primary AOE abilites go on CD I quickly swap out to scepter/torch and continue to AOE burst again with 2/4/5 respectively (again swapping back once I’m done). Or better yet start with smite swap to GS followed be 4/2 swap back and fire off 2/4/5 (rinse/repeat). Are the Might stacks from GS auto attack worth more than another sets AOE skills in the same time frame? I’m still very new to the class and am loving it but a little enlightenment in this area would be highly appreciated!

It’s preference I don’t swap basically because I have traits using the weapon to begin with. I would swap however if it actually carried over to the second weapon. The traits don’t carry and you can’t quickly swap back. Which is some cases may get you killed or not get a kill in hammers case. The Sceptor is ok to change with but really not needed when you have things you can do on one bar.
By the time I go through all my skills 1-9 something is already back. And seeing how everything GS does is aoe. No reason to even change and risk being in a aoe situation with a single target weapon your not even traited for. But if I was going to swap it would be to hammer with the rune to 100% critical. But again no need really staff is extremely useful now though.
