What’s up everyone.

Ok, so I’m in need of some help here. I’ve done quite a bit of searching on the forums and have found a lot of good info, but I need some help putting it all together to fit the playstyle that I’m aiming for.

I love the “Healway” build for WvW but need something else for general solo PVE/dungeons/fractals. Something that has much better DPS. Hopefully one day ANet will give us dual builds but that’s another topic.

I’m really itching to come up with a strong build focusing on sword/shield & greatsword combo for dungeons and maybe sword/focus & greatsword for solo PVE. I’ve been messing around with buildcraft and came up with a starting point, but I need your guys to help me fine tune it for max potential. Right now I’m thinking about a 0/30/20/10/10 or 0/30/20/20/0 focusing on right-hand strength from Radiance and Honorable Shield from Valor. After that I was considering whether I should go 10 into virtues or drop that and go for 2-Handed Master.

My goal is to be able to dps while being able to be somewhat tanky and also be able to provide good support through shouts/boons. I’d like to have more boon duration, but I don’t think I can do that without sacrificing some defense or dps on runes. I want to be careful not to not spread myself too thin.

Basically, I’m looking for any advice on tweaking the build, sigils, runes, and gear to help get as close to my goal as possible.

Fiery Wrath, RHS, Pure of Voice

Berserker everything, blood sigils, Ruby orbs or your favorite precision or power runes

Salt to taste.

How’s the survivability with that little toughness? Unless your dodging everything perfectly, I would imagine this would be pretty squishy. I know in very high level fractals it doesn’t really matter, but for everything besides that…

I’m also open to other feedback if anyone else has some suggestions.

About the Survivability what I do is have sets of everything. When I’m with those tough minibosses that lower your life like crazy (See Slave Driver at CoF), I use Cleric’s Mace and Cleric’s Focus, still with everything else the same as Berserker’s

That helps me out in the Toughness part, still keeping my Power and giving me a little extra healing for the dodge rolls and the Symbol. (Plus, I use Water Sigil on Mace and Blood Sigil on Focus).

Guardian is my 5th Lv80. Thank you for sharing. I made some tweaks and here’s what came up.

I did this Guardian theory craft tweaking based on my Warrior as a reference on real game play which I have been using it for sometime and quite comfortable with it. Currently my warrior is sustained DPS and also tanky. Quite forgiving when actions don’t trigger during lags.

I swap from GS PVT to GS Berserker, once I have stacked 250 power with Superior Sigil of Bloodlust. I also carry along a Sword (PVT), Shied (PVT), Warhorn (PVT), Hammer (Berzerker). Change my traits and weapons depends on situation with this build.

I do keep a set of Knights (2 x Monk, 2 x Water, 2 x Fire Rune) for might duration for mats gathering and event runs in PVE.

Been using it on Fractals 10 – 18. I have not upgraded to full Ascended yet. Putting all tokens to my main (Ele support build Lv28 Fractals with high stacks of might), and Thief (hybrid survive/dps build).
