retaliation now has a strange looking splodge to highlight retaliation damage? my pretty graphics have been nerfed!!!

Don’t really care what it looks like … it takes the guesswork out of determining what your damage is doing for how much. The next step would be for conditions.

It kinda work both way, I’m grateful of this. It indeed gets you to know how effective is your retaliation during a combat, but it also works to keep you alive when hitting someone using it.

Confussion had a very distinguishable effect so when attacking and seeing the huge purple blur you would say: hey! stop attacking you’re killing yourself!

Now retaliation also warns you about killing yourself thanks to the big fist. It’s a bit goofy but I like having a big warning preventing me from killing myself against retaliation heavy opponents.

heh, gotta say i love it when those retal dmg numbers pop! i go “woot woot” in my head errtime i see one jump up on the screen!
