With the changes to VP, is 0/15/30/20/5 still a viable choice for pve/wvw?? Is monk’s focus better than AH given the relatively short CD on Smite Condition? Am I better off using a greatsword and just judge-bombing people instead? Any ideas/info appreciated!

AH is still good and if you use hammer and empowering might with it the change isn’t to bad. We are all just upset to the fact it was a change that fixed nothing of our problems and only dampened our class mechanic with boons a bit. Hammer + AH+ light and fire fields is still a good source of healing put out to you and others around you. With the change you can Dodge more so there is something to look at and with selfless dareing you can get heals from it more.
