Guild Wars 2

I looked at the PVE guide but it was made 4yrs ago and I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been updated.

My Guardian is in full exotic “of the Trooper” gear and I have a staff and greatsword as weapons. My question is just for world pve stuff what stats should I go with? I plan on using bow and greatsword (or something with a shield)

for pve, full zerker and scholar runes is the most efficient option if you’re not going to lazily just auto-attack everything to death and actually use the class as intended

scepter/torch (or focus, depending) and greatsword are the best options DPS wise pretty much. nothing else comes close in PvE if you play these 2 weapon sets to their maximum potential in an open world scenario, have fun

If one enjoys efficiency, this setup is fine. Personally I don’t always find this too enjoyable though.

What I personally run is a full Marauder set with Pack runes. I also play with Sword/Torch and Longbow.

because thats the game

pack mostly zerker gear for pve grab a hammer and put some meditations and traps that anything else is a potato.

People only need to auto atack on this game, it does damage and hit more than 1 target, and has no CD, anything else is situational.
